OUR AUTHORS
Kelly Fox
Kelly Fox always harbored a deep-seated dream of writing a book, though for a long time, it felt like an impossible goal. As a neurodivergent creative, Kelly often found that while her mind was brimming with vibrant ideas, the bridge between her thoughts and the written page felt out of reach.
Everything changed when she met Faith. With Faith’s dedicated guidance, patience, and collaborative spirit, Kelly found the support she needed to finally get her words out of her head and onto paper. Together, they navigated the creative process, shaping raw ideas into a cohesive story and bringing the accompanying artwork to life.
Because of this transformative partnership, Kelly has broken through the barriers that once held her back. Today, she is proud to officially and beautifully call herself a published author, proving that with the right ally, every powerful voice can find its wings.
Gloria Polakof, Ph. D.
Gloria Polakof has always been an artist at heart, expressing her creativity in many beautiful forms throughout her life. As a Master Gardener, her artistry has long been visible in the vibrant, living canvases she cultivates. Yet, despite her lifelong devotion to creative expression, Gloria never truly thought it would be possible to take her personal creations and transform them into a book.
That dream is now a reality. By blending her artistic vision with the world of publishing, Gloria has discovered a brand-new medium for her talents. Today, she is thrilled to be turning her creative concepts and passions into books, sharing her unique perspective and artistic spirit with readers everywhere.
Sean Gray
Sean is a vibrant and creative young author whose journey in storytelling has been anything but conventional. At a young age, he discovered a passion for crafting intricate worlds and compelling characters, using writing as a way to express his unique perspective of the world. As a talented individual on the autism spectrum, Sean’s focus and imagination have allowed him to develop stories filled with rich detail and genuine heart.
Despite his natural gift for narrative, Sean faced early challenges. When he first shared his ambition to write and publish a book, he was unfortunately told that he was too young to be taken seriously as an author. This discouraging feedback could have been a barrier, but Sean's determination and unwavering belief in his stories kept him moving forward.
He found his true home at Quill & Compass Publishing, a place that recognized his talent, welcomed his creativity, and embraced his unique voice. At Quill & Compass, Sean found the support system, encouragement, and understanding he needed to thrive. Now, with his first book published, Sean is a testament to the idea that with the right belief in your voice, no barrier—whether it's age or ability—is insurmountable.
Quill & Compass is proud to be a part of making Sean’s publishing dreams a reality, proving that the best stories are often told by those who have to break through boundaries to share them. When Sean isn't busy crafting his next masterpiece, he enjoys spending time with his family, exploring nature, and finding inspiration in the quiet corners of his world.
“When I look at our authors on the autism spectrum—creatives who once believed writing a book was an unachievable dream—I see the exact reason Quill & Compass was born. We built this space to provide the support system and belief that turns those barriers into breakthroughs. Your voice belongs in the world.”
